Wine Notes | A lightish, fresh red produced from Clare Valley Sangiovese, Grenache, Sciacarello and Malbec. Sumptuous perfume of exotic spice, rose hip tea, dried berries. Similar to taste with crunchy texture, brisk acidity, lively fresh fruity feel and a cool restraint and chew to finish. Absolutely smashable wine on it's own or paired with gamey dishes. |

Koerner Wine is a partnership between brothers Damon and Jonathan Koerner. The wines are produced from fruit grown in the Watervale area of the Clare Valley, with the majority coming from the family vineyard. Gullyview vineyard has been owned and managed by their parents, (Christine & Anthony Koerner), for the past 38 years. The winemaking philosophy is very simple – the wines are made in the vineyard. Generally, these wines are light, fresh, textured and well-structured with high drinkability in mind. To achieve this the Koerner’s pick early and use very hands-off winemaking techniques.
