Oliver's Taranga HJ Shiraz is made from the esteemed "Old Block" with vines up to 100+years old. A Shiraz with depth, the nose exhibits liqueur cherries, spice stewed plums, dark chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream. As the wine circles the palate, dark chocolate with sweet spices, slight char and stewed cherry and vanillan quince characters meld beautifully with layers of fine grained tannins. Parker Estate 95 Block Cabernet Sauvignon
Seriously generous and rich Parker Estate 95 Block Cabernet Sauvignon from the Abbey Vineyard is highly rated Reynell clone, co-fermented with 5% petit verdot, spending 30 days on skins before maturation for 21 months in 100% new thick-staved French oak. It is deep ruby red in colours and very perfumed. Ripe Cabernet fruit alongside smooth cedar. Bright and fruit driven, the addition of Petit Verdot brings a slightly floral nature. Ample tannins.
