Wine Notes | Deeply coloured and attractively perfumed, this is an engaging, savoury, firm and dusty example of shiraz. Rich plum and blueberries braced with a lick of oak and a gentle clench of tannin to close. |

Cherubino Wines
After several years working as a corporate wine maker travelling the globe, Larry Cherubino has put down his roots in Western Australia. Larry is now channeling his energy into his family business along side his wife. Larry may be first generation, however Edwina’s family were one of the early settlers of the Franklin River region in Western Australia. They migrated from England in the mid 1800’s. Not just settlement pioneers, they planted the first vines on the banks of the river in 1875. They are now fourth generation wine growers in the region.
Edwina and Larry purchased their first parcel of land in Frankland River in 2004. Cherubino Wines began shortly after in a spare room in 2005 with the release of one wine. A lot has happened since. The range has grown and the winery and cellar door established in Margaret River. Cherubino wines now represents the key areas of Western Australia’s wine regions crafting pure whites and elegant reds.
Larry Cherubino is an award-winning Australian winemaker having won over 60 trophies and 250 gold medals. These awards are across both the Australian and International wine show system. Larry’s efforts are now being recognised by such wine critics as James Halliday. He has awarded Cherubino Wines a 5 star rating, 2011 Winery of the Year and most recently 2016 Best Value Winery of the year. Folklore Shiraz is another classic wine from Larry’s Margaret River winery.
