Wine Notes | The bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry and thyme. Hints of cedary seasoned oak mingle with bright red cherry perfume, liquorice and star anise. Medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, the palate is succulent and juicy with the right combination of generous red cherry flavour and a flash of spicy oak with the crunchy tannin leading to a savoury finish. The DNA of delicious everyday drinking is delivered as a fresh and lightly spicy red with year-round appeal. |

Dal Zotto
Dal Zotto is regarded as one of the stand-out wineries in the King Valley region, and the importance of family is at its heart. The business is now lead by the second generation of Dal Zotto’s – Michael and Christian. But it was patriarch Otto Dal Zotto with his wife Elena that inspired the vision of the business.
The Dal Zotto’s approach combines the best of traditional Italian methods alongside modern, ‘new-world’ winemaking techniques. With the expansion of the winery in 1994 came the opportunity for Otto to introduce Italian varietals into the vineyard. These include barbera, sangiovese, pinot grigio, arneis. Most importantly came the planting of prosecco. A varietal and wine style that is the foundation of Otto’s Italian hometown. It is now the signature wine of the Dal Zotto range. While Prosecco is at the heart of the winery, it is wines like the Dal Zotto Sangiovese which are making their mark.
